  • Course durations can vary for multiple reasons, so the durations below are the minimum possible amount.

    • Refresher Face to Face contact time of at least 3 Hours 30 Mins

    • Blended Face to Face contact time of at least 3 Hours 30 Mins

    • Face-to-Face Face to Face contact time of at least 5 Hours

    • Online with face-to-face assessment Face to Face contact time of at least 30 Mins

  • Physical capability to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills including CPR (Important note: In order to issue an accredited certificate CPR must be performed on the floor and and rescue breathing techniques demonstrated on manikins, with no exemptions).

    Physical fitness – Participants must have the physical capacity to complete a practical demonstration of a simulated LV panel rescue.

    Online study: Students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other electronic devices with access to the internet to complete the online/ pre-course studies.

  • Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.

  • The units have the following recommended renewal periods:

    • Unit

    • UETDRRF004 - Perform rescue from a live LV panel

      12 months

  • Please note that enrolment to this course is made with Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909. Please refer to the student handbook located on the RTO website allenstraining.com.au (https://allenstraining.com.au/students/student-handbook) for all details relating to rights and responsibilities including complaints and appeals.

  • Performance tasks and scenarios:

    • Perform CPR on an adult (incl. the use of an AED and placing a casualty into the recovery position)

    • Perform CPR on an infant

    • Inspection and placement of rescue equipment and performing a rescue

    • Low voltage panel rescue

    Theory assessment - A written assessment consisting of multiple-choice questions.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

We are flexible and recognise that appointments and life can sometimes get in the way, and you may need to transfer the course date. Whilst we do offer 1 free transfer per students there may be additional fees

More than 10 days before the course -
Full refund.

Less than 10 days before the course - 75% refund.

After the course has started - No refund.

Transfers - Free transfer to another short course if dates are available.

Extenuating Circumstances - Full credit toward future courses may be offered.

Course Cancellation by Regional First Aid - Full refund or alternative arrangements if the course cannot be fulfilled.

We also do an administration fee of $25 depending on the circumstances
